PROFILE of The People's University of BangladeshBackgroundThe People’s University of Bangladesh (PUB) was established on 14th May, 1996 as a private University under the Private University Act 1992, with a vision to enhance the opportunities for higher education in Bangladesh. The University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh has approved its curriculum. The Vision The people’s University is nonprofit organization for higher education. The University is committed to maintain a peaceful, congenial and homely academic environment through close counseling and guidance of the students by the teachers. The prime objective of the University is to attract the potentialities and talent of our youths so that they can meet the challenge of the twenty first century.
